National Association for the Self-Employed’s March and April Growth Grants to be Sponsored by QuickBooks Self-Employed



DALLAS, TX – The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation’s leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-business community, announced Intuit (Nasdaq: INTU), maker of products that support the self-employed community such as QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed, will sponsor the organization’s Growth Grant program helping support small businesses across the country.

Throughout the month of March and April the National Association for the Self-Employed’s Growth Grant program will be sponsored by QuickBooks Self-Employed. One small business for each month will be awarded a $4,000 NASE Growth Grant designed to help address a business specific need by growing and expanding their business operations.

“Intuit recognizes the opportunities the increasing growth and popularity of self-employment provides, which is why the company is committed to offering solutions that meet the self-employed’s unique needs,” said Liz Baker, senior business development manager, QuickBooks Self-Employed at Intuit. “Working with NASE to sponsor the funds self-employed need through the Growth Grant program is a natural choice for our continued support of this dynamic workforce.”

Since 2006, the NASE has awarded over $600,000 to members through the Growth Grant program by providing small business grants.  NASE’s Growth Grant program is intended for businesses planning to take the next step in their venture.  It provides available capital for small businesses and sole proprietors to be able to hire and train additional employees, market their business in new and existing ways or invest in new equipment or software.

Applications for the NASE’s 2017 Growth Grant program are currently being accepted from now through December 31st, 2017.  Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year and winning small businesses will be awarded $4,000 grants monthly throughout 2017.  Visit the Growth Grant page for more information.
