Who Is Your Potential Customer?

Nov 02, 2010

Posted by Molly Nelson - If you believe that "everyone" is your potential customer, Dr. Jeff Cornwall of Belmont University has a few words for you. Dr. Cornwall writes that, "The era of the mass market is over. It has been replaced by what is known as the long tail of marketing, in which the focus is not on the mainstream but on much smaller market niches."

Dr.Cornwall suggests steps for identifying your specific potential clients, as well as gaining and keeping them as customers. (Also, if you're not already reading Dr. Cornwall's blog, The Entrepreneurial Mind, be sure to add it to your RSS reader!)
