Posted by Kristin Oberlander - House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, brought forth a Republican version of the payroll tax cut extension, which would extend certain unemployment benefits and prevent cuts to Medicare physicians. The bill would also give the green light to the Keystone XL pipeline, which is contentious.
