Earlier this year, we here at the NASE announced a partnership with the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council) and Fundable to launch a crowdfunding contest. The contest was a great success for many small businesses and the winner that emerged was The Cookie Bar from Las Vegas, Nevada.
To win the contest, participants had to be the first one to reach their goal. The Cookie Bar set a goal to raise $10,000 and at the time of writing this, they have raised over $11,000. Not only will they receive the money they raised but for winning the contest, the will also get an additional $10,000 prize.
