A Helping Hand

Dec 10, 2009
Posted by Molly Nelson - BusinessWeek's SmallBiz was concerned that minority- and woman-owned business were not taking advantage of all the resources available to them, and so compiled this guide on the resources that are out there (from certification to peer advising) for these businesses.

Don't forget to lean on your local Small Business Development Center for help and advice.  The NASE's small business and tax consultants are also available online anytime to answer your questions.  If your business is in need of a financial boost, make it your New Year's Resolution to apply for one of the NASE's Business Development Grants; while the application period for 2009 has ended, it will reopen on February 1, 2010.
