protects their information) and good for business (because customers
trust that their information is safe, according to Inc., a survey by security researcher Ponemon Institute found that 56 percent of small businesses don't even have a privacy policy posted on their Web site!
With many of those surveyed indicating that "substantial" security protections and accurate data collection and use would encourage their trust in a business (60 percent and 53 percent respectively), it may be time to work on a privacy policy if your business does not have one already.
