Supporting NASE Members

Apr 08, 2009

Posted by Maureen Petron - I had an awesome experience with an NASE Member yesterday.

In my free time, I pretend to be a runner. On the recomendation of a friend, I went online yesterday and ordered a SPIbelt to hold my phone and keys while hitting the pavement. I had it shipped to the office instead of my home address, so the company name "NASE" was on the mailing label.

The person processing the order -- the creator of the SPIbelt -- recognized NASE and sent me a personal e-mail. She's been a member for three years! She had some nice things to say, and it was really cool to learn that I stumbled upon a member, and helped support their business by ordering several of their products!

We're working on a way to encourage that kind of interaction more between NASE Members. I don't want to spill the beans too much, but we're working on a new Web feature to let NASE Members post profiles of their businesses so other members can search by industry or location, and support one another.

In the meantime, sign up with our Facebook and Linked In groups to connect!
