Self-employed business owners have a lot on their plates. They are responsible for everything from finding clients and managing finances to handling day-to-day operations. And, while there are a number of resources available to help them with these tasks, it can be difficult to know where to start.

The four biggest resources for self-employed business owners are:

1. The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE)

The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) is an organization that provides resources and support for self-employed individuals. Founded in 1981, the NASE is the largest membership organization for self-employed people in the United States. The NASE offers a variety of services to its members, including health insurance, business assistance, and advocacy on public policy issues. In addition, the NASE provides educational resources on topics such as taxes, marketing, and financial planning. The organization also offers discounts on products and services that are used by self-employed individuals. Whether you are just starting out on your own or have been self-employed for many years, the NASE can provide you with the resources and support you need to be successful.

2. The Small Business Administration (SBA)

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is an independent agency of the federal government that provides financial and technical assistance to small businesses. The SBA was created in 1953, and it currently has a staff of over 3,000 people. The agency's mission is to "promote the development and growth of small businesses." The SBA provides a variety of services to small businesses, including loans, grants, counseling, and training. In addition, the SBA offers disaster assistance to small businesses that have been affected by natural disasters. The SBA also provides information on how to start and grow a small business. Through its programs and services, the Small Business Administration helps tens of thousands of small businesses every year.

3. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation, representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions. The Chamber's mission is to promote, protect, and expand access to opportunity for America's businesses and their workers. To that end, the Chamber advocates for pro-business policies at the federal, state, and local level; mobilizes its members to engage in the political process; and communicates the business community's point of view to policymakers, the media, and the general public. In addition, the Chamber provides resources and support to businesses of all types, helping them to start, grow, and succeed. With a presence in every state and territory, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the collective voice of American business.

4. Your Local Chamber of Commerce

The purpose of a chamber of commerce is to promote and support businesses and economic development in a community. Chambers typically offer member businesses a variety of benefits, including networking opportunities, promotional opportunities, and access to business resources. Chambers also advocate on behalf of businesses at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition, chambers often partner with other organizations to provide benefits to their members, such as health insurance and human resource services. By supporting businesses and promoting economic development, chambers of commerce play an important role in helping communities thrive.

The four organizations listed above are just a few of the many resources available to self-employed business owners. These organizations can provide you with the support you need to be successful, whether you're just starting out or you've been in business for years. If you're looking for help with marketing your business, finding health insurance, or understanding public policy issues, these organizations can offer assistance. By taking advantage of the resources these organizations provide, you can set your business up for success.
