Emergency Preparedness Planning

Aug 20, 2009
Posted by Molly Nelson - Is your business prepared for a potential swine flu pandemic?  Although the coverage of swine flu seems to have somewhat tapered off in favor of other news, that doesn't mean that the outbreak could be any less dangerous when flu season picks up again this fall.

While certainly not the happiest thing to think about, ignoring the potential impact of a pandemic on you, your employees and your business isn't going to help, either.  This thorough BusinessWeek article offers some great ideas to help you create a continuity plan for your business to prepare for the swine flu, or another emergency situation.

Creating a plan now will likely save you time and money later, so what are you waiting for?

Feel free to share anything you think is a necessity in continuity planning, or additional helpful resources you have come across, in the comments.
