Small Business Hope in Detroit

Jan 12, 2010
Posted by Molly Nelson - Similar to a story from last summer about small businesses in New Orleans, the New York Times has put a spotlight on small businesses in what some might argue is the city that has been hit hardest by the recession, Detroit.

From a hair salon to a movie theater, the entrepreneurs in this article have done their best to make their businesses successful despite Detroit's economic woes.  Many of the small business owners in the article cite a love for the city and a desire to help revitalize it as a driving factor for starting their business.
