In some happier news, the Kauffman Foundation reports that entrepreneurial activity in the U.S. rose to its highest rate in 14 years in 2009, and Inc. has a guide for getting certified as a minority-owned business

FreelanceFolder suggests using Zen practices to increase productivity (as I try to surreptitiously organize the papers on my desk), while Good Plum cautions small business owners against perfectionism
