  • Reviews of books or other media that speak of self-employed and small businesses.
  • Best practices and trends of self-employed and small business.
  • Independent reviews of apps actually used by the writer that may help businesses.
  • Expert advice from self-employed and small business professionals.
  • Stories from self-employed and small businesses about some of the hardships they have had to navigate as business owners.

We're looking for posts that not only provide accurate and useful information, but are inspiring and hopeful at the same time. The NASE serves to educate the self-employed and small business community.

Guidelines:

If you're interested in posting on NASE.org, you must agree to the following:

  • NASE.org does not accept payment for posts. There is no charge to publish in our blog.
  • All submitted posts must be original work that has not been previously published on any other website, chat, forum, or social media network. You may, however, publish the first paragraph of the guest post on another website with a link to the full post on NASE.org.
  • By submitting original content to NASE.org you attest that you are the author of that content or have the author’s permission to share it on this website.
  • The NASE serves to educate the self-employed and small business community. This should be kept in mind when writing content for us.
  • Guest posts should be no less than 500 words.
  • Guest posts should be written for a U.S. audience with American spellings.
  • Please include a 1-2 paragraph introduction with your submission.
  • Please include a 1-3 paragraph Author Bio with your submission.
  • Please include a photo for the Author Bio page with your submission.
    Minimum Size: 400px x 400px
  • Guest bloggers may include links to their website, blog, or social media accounts in the Author Bio section of the post.
  • When quoting others, please cite sources, with appropriate links included.
  • Third party links must be relevant to the topic and approved by the editors.
  • Please do not use the main article portion of your post to directly promote any products or services you are involved in marketing or providing.
  • The NASE reserves the right to edit or remove a guest post from our website at any time. We also reserve the right to add appropriate links to guest posts and remove any inappropriate external links.
  • The NASE will provide appropriate images for the post. Guest bloggers may submit their own images, provided they can furnish proof of ownership or right to use.
  • The NASE encourages guest bloggers to promote their guest posts on their own website, Facebook, Twitter, or other social media accounts.
  • The NASE will share and promote guest posts on our social media platforms but does not guarantee any particular site or audience reach.
  • Please do not send us unsolicited guest posts. If you are interested in writing a post for NASE.org, please send us a topic proposal first, by clicking the button below. If we like your idea, we will let you know how to submit a post.
  • We cannot guarantee that articles submitted to us as guest posts will be published on our website. The quality of writing and messaging of the content are important to us. In some instances, we decline a submission for not meeting our standards in one or both of those areas.
