Scott Ball 

Scott has owned Link Staffing Services for the past 10 years. He worked for Manpower for five years as branch manager before opening his own franchise. Scott came to Mason City in 1991 to become the assistant coach of the now-defunct North Iowa Huskies hockey team of the premier league of the United States Hockey League. While coaching hockey, Scott also received his two-year AA degree from North Iowa Community College, and subsequently received a double major in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Business Administration. In 1995 he became the assistant hockey coach at Iowa State University, and in 1996 he became the Coaching Director of the Midwest Amateur Hockey Association and served for six years. Scott has coached other sports for his children, and when not working enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and two children, Bryce and Ellsye.

Charlie Arnold

Charlie Arnold, of Lewes, Del., is the President/Owner of Arnold Powerwash LLC. Arnold Powerwash is organized in commercial and residential divisions cleaning all types of exterior surfaces, along with fleet washing and dry ice blasting divisions. Charlie is currently serving on Board of Directors for Power Washers of North America as Secretary and Environmental Chairman of the Eastern U.S. Charlie is a bi-vocational Church Planting Pastor and is Pastor of Seaside Church. Read full bio here.

Pat Bennett

Pat has had an affinity for animals, especially dogs, for many years. Her business, Wicked Coursing, came into existence in 2007 as a direct result of the drive and energy of her Bedlington Terrier, Lucy.  Pat discovered lure coursing as an outlet for Lucy, and soon after started her own local club. Running lure coursing events with other, old equipment led directly to the development of Wicked Coursing and the business’s phenomenal product line. Wicked Coursing has a global reach and provides equipment for dog clubs, individuals, zoos and game preserves all over the world. As CEO, Pat wears many hats: managing the overall running of the business, developing the product line, developing and implementing the marketing, designing the products and/or components within them, developing and implementing the infrastructure, hiring and training new employees, performing all purchasing, and even building the small machine products and doing the shipping in a pinch.

Shelley Booth

Shelley is the co-owner and business manager of Suspension Experts, Inc. in Asheville, N.C. Suspension Experts specializes in custom repair, tuning, and sales of mountain bike suspension systems. Also known as the Voice of Reason in the shop, Shelley co-founded the business with her husband Kevin in 2005 and joined the team full time in 2008.  Her job is to manage the administration side of the business - from bookkeeping and billing, to marketing and advertising and more. During her career in the non-profit world she worked in war zones and refugee camps and managed a childhood obesity prevention program.  So she jumped at the chance to focus on her own business for a change of pace.  Shelley received her BA in Anthropology from Towson University and her MA in International Development from George Washington University.

Seneca Brookins

Seneca Brookins is Founder and CEO at Jasudo, a synergistic online portal for entrepreneurs, launching in 2013. He received his Bachelors of Business degree from Wayne State University and is currently a graduate student at Depaul University studying IT Project Management. After his nine-year career in advanced security and video surveillance, the last four of which he spent as an entrepreneur, Seneca decided it was time to ignite his true passion of growing startups and moved to Chicago. There, he is committed to bringing an even greater level of client and consumer focus to the public and speaks with entrepreneurs around the country from a variety of sectors. Seneca contributes his time to causes that promote education and entrepreneurship.

Ann Brown

Ann Brown is a freelance writer, professional virtual assistant, and president and CEO of Virtual Admins Plus, a virtual assisting company located in Cleveland, Ohio and serving clients all over the United States and the UK. Ann has over twenty years of business, customer service, and marketing experience, and she brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the virtual assisting world.  She also has also been a regular contributor to the Women's Council of REALTORS® national online magazine, e-Connections, for the last five years and is a published author of a series of children's books.

Sydni Craig-Hart

Sydni Craig-Hart, of Emeryville, Calif., is the owner of Craig Hart Consulting, LLC. Sydni provides marketing, coaching and consulting services to clients.

Fred Diamond

Fred Diamond, owner of DIAMOND Strategic Marketing in Vienna, Va., specializes in developing vertical, product, and sales/marketing integration strategies for tech and professional services firms that want to accelerate their growth. My motto, “Marketing that doesn’t lead to revenue reward is a huge waste of time and money” demonstrates that it's about accelerating the sales process. We’ve created and implemented marketing and sales programs for dozens of professional services, software, government contracting, software reselling, Internet hardware, VOIP, electronics and computer security systems companies. Some of our clients have included Microsoft, PC Connection, Singapore Electronics, Ingram Micro, and Contact Solutions. We have provided International marketing leadership for companies in enterprise communications, software, hardware, e-commerce, Internet, and data storage. Our domain expertise includes all public sector markets including Federal, State & Local Government, and Education, as well as retail, transportation, and financial services.

Marla Duran

Originally from the Lehigh Valley, Marla spent time living in Washington, D.C, Los Angeles, and Paris before returning to the area to start her business. Marla designs and makes clothing primarily for women. Her clothes are made within a 50 mile radius of her studio/ store in Bethlehem, Pa. Marla markets her clothes to boutiques and through juried art fairs nationwide. Marla was also a contestant on the second season of Bravo’s “Project Runway”.

Dennis Dureno

Dennis is a Managing Partner at D.J. Dureno & Associates located in Homewood, Illinois, an international, education, and management consulting company working with manufacturing and distribution companies who want to improve their business processes and performance through information technology, process improvements, and ERP/SCM education. Dennis has over 40 years of Operations Management, Supply Chain, and Consulting experience with GE, FMC, Expert Buying Systems, Whittman-Hart, marchFIRST, and Buker, Inc. Academic credentials include a B.S.E.E., M.B.A., and a graduate of GE's Manufacturing Management Program. Industry experiences include: major appliances, transportation equipment, motors & generators, industrial products, aerospace & defense, chemicals, consumer products, warehousing & distribution, and capital equipment manufacturing.

Gary Gygi

Gary is the owner of an Investment Advisory firm in Utah, Gygi Capital Management. As a trusted name in investment advisory services and market research, Gygi Capital Management helps individuals, families, and businesses to achieve their financial goals. Gary has been managing money professionally since 1989. He spent 15 years with Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor and branch manager and left as First VP of investments in 2003. He has a dual registration as he is a registered rep with WBB Securities, an independent Broker/Dealer out of San Diego, Calif. Gary regularly appears in local television, radio and print media and has appeared on the nationally broadcast Neil Cavuto Show which airs on Fox Business Network.

Gaylene Kanoyton

Gaylene Kanoyton, of Hampton, Va., is the President of Gaylene, LLC – Management & Marketing Company. Gaylene is active in her community and serves on the Board of several state and local organizations, including as Member of the Executive Board for the Urban League of Hampton Roads and on the Hampton Child Development Center Board. Gaylene was also appointed by Virginia Governor Tim Kaine to serve on the Council on the Status of Women, with her term ending in 2012.

Stephen McNeilly

Stephen, a Native Georgian with years of experience in the climates and conditions associated with southern landscape maintenance management has served as Foreman, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, Contract Manager, Executive Director Chief Executive Officer managing millions of dollars worth of federal, state, local, residential and commercial contracts in the grounds maintenance and turf treatment services. Stephen has more than 15 years of experience in all phases of landscape design build and maintenance and is the founder of three successful landscape maintenance companies, one pest control company and one landscape design build company located in Georgia, Florida and Illinois.

Mary G. Mora

Mary G. Mora, of Winston-Salem, N.C., is the Owner and Abundant Talent Connector of MGM Speakers Bureau. Mary G. connects keynote, motivational, professional speakers, training consultants, and business/life coaches with event and meeting planners, organizations, associations and individuals.

Wendy Moyer-Drabick

Wendy Moyer-Drabick has over 19 years in the software business and has specialized in the construction, non-profit, retail, manufacturing and professional services industries. Wendy owns Moyer-Drabick and Associates, Ltd., a full-service consulting firm that specializes in the selection, implementation, training and support of various accounting packages, such as Sage 50 and QuickBooks, for all types of businesses.  They offer bookkeeping services, training on MS Office applications and informational technology consulting. They specialize in helping small to medium-size businesses that perform their accounting manually, need training on their current software or would like to update their current system.

Michael O'Brien

Michael is the founder and principal of MOB Advocacy, a full-service, multi-state government relations firm. Michael started MOB Advocacy because he saw a need for quality state and local legislative, regulatory and procurement services among small businesses and start-ups. Michael launched MOB Advocacy in 2012, and brings over ten years of experience as an advocate at the state and local level for corporations, national trade associations and non-profit organizations. He has helped shape state and municipal policy, secured state and local appropriations and launched and managed national grassroots advocacy programs.

Amber Rolih

Amber and her husband, Michael, own and operate MIRRO, LLC, in Rochester, Minn. MIRRO is an eye care consulting company that provides optometrist and ophthalmologist practices with training and development, practice management, and human resources support.

Ben Seidel

Ben Seidel, of Columbia, Mo., is the President of Igniting Business. With his background in marketing, technology and website design, Ben offers many services to clients in the realm of website development solutions, marketing material design and production, as well as technology services.

Tiffany Washington

Tiffany Washington, of Waldorf, Md., is the owner of Washington Accounting Services. Tiffany was the recipient of the NASE’s Achievement Award in 2009 In addition to providing financial services that reduce risk, cost, and improve quality of financial operational information for businesses, Tiffany teaches Business Tax & Recordkeeping courses at the College of Southern Maryland.
