WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following the recent violence against the Asian American community, the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation’s leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-business community, released the following statement strongly condemning the hatred and violence against the community:

“The National Association for the Self-Employed – including the entire self-employed and micro-business community throughout the country – strongly condemns all violence and bigotry against the Asian American community in Atlanta. We stand with the Asian community who were targeted and left victim to these senseless acts of xenophobia.

“As founding members of the Small Business Roundtable, we are privileged to work closely with the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce (National ACE) who has worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to help AAPI businesses access resources and information. Individuals and small businesses, regardless of nationality, never should be attacked. We support everyone in the small business community across America.”

The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) is the nation's leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-businesses, offering a broad range of benefits to help entrepreneurs succeed and to drive the continued growth of this vital segment of the American economy.
