NASE Salutes the American Small Business Community During National Small Business Week

As the Small Business Community Slowly Climbs Out of the COVID Crisis, Now is the Time to Celebrate & Support These Entrepreneurs

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With the U.S. Small Business Administration celebrating National Small Busines Week this week, Monday, September 13th – Wednesday, September 15th, the National Association for the Self-Employed, the nation's leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-businesses, today saluted America’s entrepreneurs by encouraging all of America to show their support this week by shopping local along our nation’s Main Street’s.

“This week we celebrate America’s small business community, including the millions of solo entrepreneurs and mom-and-pop shops to gig-economy workers, who continue to drive and fuel our nation’s economy,” said Keith Hall, president and CEO of NASE. “They, as well as many other Americans, have been deeply impacted by the COVID crisis, but remain steadfast and persistent in their desire to get back to normal. While struggling to keep their doors open, America’s small businesses continue to keep their doors open and serving their customers.

“Please join me in celebrating America’s true entrepreneurial spirit by shopping local across our nation and supporting our nation’s small businesses.”

The National Association for the Self-Employed has been providing financial support to its small business members for over 20 years. During that time, NASE has awarded over $1,000,000 since the Growth Grant program’s inception and continues to see significant return on our investments in the growth of member-businesses helping to fuel their local economies. To help them climb out of the COVID-19 crisis, NASE continues to offer quarterly NASE Growth Grants to its small business members on a rolling basis.
