Businesses with 25 or fewer full-time employees are exempt from the Affordable Care Act and won’t have to provide health coverage for their employees, but they can still take advantage of a tax credit to cover a sizeable portion of their employees’ premiums if they take part in Obamacare.

With less than six-weeks to go before the October 1st open enrollment period begins for the new Affordable Care Act implementation, today The New York Times uncovered a “little-noticed ruling” that delays “until 2015 a significant consumer protection in the law that limits how much people may have to spend on their own health care”.
