NASE Gives Voice to the Small Business Community While Serving as Critical Resource for New and Existing Small Businesses

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With this Saturday designated as Small Business Saturday – November 26th, Keith Hall, president and CEO of National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation's leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-businesses, today applauded the spirit and ingenuity of America’s small business community encouraging the American public to shop local.

“With Small Business Saturday celebrated this Saturday, we encourage the American public to show their support by opening their wallets and shopping local,” Keith Hall, president and CEO of the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE).While the last three years have been challenging for the small business community, they have preserved and were resilient coming back stronger than before. From weathering a devastating pandemic to combating uncertain economic times, America’s small businesses represent the true entrepreneurial spirit of our nation. During the same time, we have seen a surge in new small businesses opening across all demographics, including older entrepreneurs who are opening a new small business after retirement and continue with an existing small business.”

NASE advocates and gives voice to America’s smallest employers, the self-employed and micro-businesses, before our elected leaders in Washington. In addition, NASE serves as a critical resource for new and existing small businesses in their operations. Specifically, NASE offers a robust Growth Grant program – sponsored by AARP and DELL Small Business – to Ask The Experts business and tax advice and the NASE Minute video with free business advice online to both members and the public. The association’s goal is to support the small business community to help them to grow and thrive. To learn more, visit here.

“This Saturday is an opportunity to celebrate and support America’s small business community, including the millions of solo entrepreneurs and mom-and-pop shops to gig-economy workers, who continue to drive and fuel our nation’s economy.  Please join me in celebrating America’s true entrepreneurial spirit by shopping local across our nation and supporting our nation’s small businesses,” concluded Hall.
