Ahead of Saturday’s opening of the 2015 open enrollment period for the individual health care marketplace, the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation’s leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-business community, released a series of tips for small business owners to help them prepare. A key component of any businesses’ strategic plan should be investing and executing a media program charged with raising its profile. While word of mouth and excellent customer-service are smart ways to generate business, the public also needs to know you, your company, and the services you have available.
