NASE joined a coalition letter calling on Congress to pass legislation ensuring that expenses associated with PPP loan forgiveness are tax deductible. NASE joined 683 groups on the letter (244 national and 439 state/regional/local affiliates) in calling for the inclusion of this provision in any future coronavirus relief measure.

$12K in Small Business Growth Grants Awarded by the National Association for the Self-Employed

Three small businesses have been awarded a total of $12,000 in Growth Grants from the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation’s leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-business community. These small businesses were announced as third quarter 2020 Growth Grant recipients. July’s Growth Grant was generously sponsored by DELL Small Business. Last year, NASE awarded $48,000 in grants to small businesses across the country and expects to do so again this year.
